Restorative Care

Kahl Home provides restorative nursing services that are customized to meet each individual’s needs. The goal of restorative care is to help all residents achieve and maintain their highest level of functioning.

The restorative programs focus on promoting independent senior living by setting short-term, reachable goals that focus on the individual’s potential, not their limitations. The goals are designed to deter preventable decline, increase muscle strength and balance, and prevent contractures and pressure ulcers. These programs promote independence and help improve an individual’s sense of worth and self esteem.
